Il primo album della cantautrice catalana Rusó Sala Koperdraat, \"La Ciutat Imaginària\", è un progetto fascinoso che si muove tra songwriting al femminile ed indie-folk.
La voce suadente dell\'artista di Barcellona si spande ora accorata, ora leggera, tra le trame intense di chitarra acustica, accenni di ritmiche jazzate e rari tocchi eleganti di clarinetto.
Le dieci canzoni del lavoro, presentato al Festival Viumusika presso il Teatro Municipale di Roses e alla \"Casa de Cultura\" della città di Girona, intessono un incanto raffinato e sottile tra il calore dell\'interpretazione e le tante sfumature dei paesaggi emozionali; tra atmosfere rarefatte e delicate i testi si immergono tra le pieghe della vita, dell\'infanzia e dell\'amore, in tutte le sue forme. Senza eccessi sonori ed orpelli, la voce strumentale accompagna la voce carezzandola, anche nei pezzi più ritmati. La musica di Rusó Sala cattura nella sua essenzialità preziosa sia quando si presenta solo voce e chitarra con la sua forza nuda e semplice, sia quando nei concerti si arricchisce a volte delle suggestioni del violoncello, delle percussioni e di strumenti elettrici.
La cantautrice, presentata in esclusiva in Europa da Yuppi Du, sarà in Italia per la prima volta con un fitto tour di 10 date in Puglia, Basilicata e Campania tra il 26 gennaio e il 9 febbraio.

Catalan artist Rusó Sala Koperdraat\'s first album, \"La Ciutat Imaginària\", is a fascinating project between female songwriting and indie-folk.
The charming voice of the artist from Barcelona spreads itself now mournful, now light, among acoustic guitar intense woof, hint of jazz rhythm and scanty graceful strokes of clarinet.
The cd\'s ten songs, presented at Viumusika Festival at Municipal Theatre of Roses and at \"Casa de Cultura\" (\"House of the Culture\") of Girona, interweave a refined and subtle spell with the heat of her interpretation and various shades of her emotional landscapes; among delicate moods the lyrics immerge themself in folds of live, childhood and love, in all its forms. Without musical excesses or frills, the instrumental voice follows the voice caressing it, even in the most rhytmic songs.
Rusó Sala music catches the listeners for its precious simplicity when it presents itself only with voice and guitar in its nude and pure force, as well as when in the live shows it is enriched by awesomeness of cello, percussion and electric instruments.
At the end of January the songwriter will sing in Italy for the first time with a dense tour of 10 dates in South regions.

Cantante, chitarrista e compositrice catalana. Nata a Roses, nella regione de L’empordà, entra nel Taller de Music di Barcellona per approfondire le sue conoscenze sulla musica moderna e i suoi possibili linguaggi, dove diviene allieva di canto di Odette Talleria e Rodrigo Flores, oltre ad essere attiva nella scena musicale della capitale catalana. In seguito si immerge nella musica rinascimentale guidata da Petter Udland, iniziando nuove ricerche su registri vocali e forme interpretative. Parallelamente agli studi vocali continua quelli sulla chitarra, tanto nei suoi aspetti moderni quanto a quelli più classici, con l\'approccio sempre orientato alla composizione d\'autore. Nel giugno del 2009 autoproduce il suo primo CD intitolato La Ciutat imaginària, dove, cristallizzati gli elementi della sua formazione musicale, vi si accompagnano testi di introspezione e di inquietudine personali. L\'album è stato presentato nella Casa de Cultura di Girona, e nel Teatro Municipale di Roses per il festival musicale Viumúsika.Numerosi sono i teatri e le gallerie nelle quali si è esibita, come La Escala, il Teatre d´Anglès e la Cellera del Ter; da ricordare la partecipazione nel 2008 al festival di musica acustica della città di Figueres, località che diede i natali a Salvador Dalì; con frequenza si esibisce in locali e gallerie di Barcellona e Girona. Contemporaneamente all\'attività di promozione, ha inoltre intrapreso un progetto in duo con la cantante Rosa Zaragoza su canzoni sefardite, che la porterà in un tour in Germania fino all\'aprile 2011.

Catalan singer, guitarist and composer Catalan. Born in Roses, region de l\'Empordà, joins the Taller de Musica in Barcelona to further his knowledge of modern music and its possible languages, where she studies with singing-masters Odette Taller and Rodrigo Flores, as well as becomes active in the music scene the Catalan capital. Later on she immerges herself in Renaissance music led by Petter Udland, starting new research on vocal registers and forms of interpretation. Beside singing, she keeps on studying the guitar, in its modern aspects as well as those classic ones, with the ever-oriented approach to the songwriting composition. In June 2009 she autoproduces her first CD entitled La Ciutat Imaginaria (The imaginary city), where with firm elements of her musical education, you find intimist and melancholy lyrics. The album was presented at the Casa de Cultura (House of Culture) of Girona, and the Theatre Municipal Roses for the Viumúsika festival. Her music has been presented in live shows at a lot of theatre and galleries such as The Escala, the Teatre d\'Anglès and Celler del Ter; very notable her participation in 2008 at Sound City music festival in Figueres, the town where Salvador Dali was born; very often she performs in clubs and galleries in Barcelona and Girona. Parallely with the promotion, she has also undertaken a project in a duo with singer Rosa Zaragoza on Sephardic songs, which will take them in a German tour until April 2011.
